The establishment of the FFSAMC was welcomed by Marc Van Pelt, "I am delighted that such an enthusiastic committee has been established in the Southern African region.
The automation market here is in need of a broad range of local support - from basic introductory training in the benefits of a fieldbus system through to advanced implementation support.
Training and technical support will be our primary focus and the committee is in the process of establishing a registered training institution to support the technical training needs in the region".
