Fike Europe announces that the new Fike "Axius" bursting disc has been subjected to a highly-demanding test programme to demonstrate the performance characteristics under demanding operating conditions.

As a result of both in-house testing and evaluation, supported by field testing with installations where other bursting discs have failed, the Axius has been shown to deliver the highest industry available operating ratios without chemical build-up.

When exposed to heavy pressure cyclic duty the Axius has demonstrated infinite cycling ability from full vacuum up to 95% of its burst pressure range.

Flow capacity testing has revealed that this outstanding safety product offers the lowest KRGL-value when compared to equivalent pressure relief products.

Designed and manufactured using the Fike proprietary G2 technology, Axius benefits production processes with increased efficiency, cost reductions and higher levels of performance.
