It has been designed from scratch to overcome the problems faced by end-users trying to implement PC frame grabber solutions or smart cameras into real world production environments.
The NetSight 2 frees up the time spent integrating system components allowing more time for developing the vision application.
The NetSight 2 uses a high performance Intel processor; it has multiple camera inputs, flexible communications and a comprehensive user interface.
The NetSight 2 is equipped to tackle almost any inspection tasks and can be supplied with MS Windows XP, or MS Embedded XP pre-installed.
The standard configuration includes 256Mb SDRAM, 20Gb Hard Disk, and an AGP based graphics output with a resolution up to 1024 x 768.
As standard the device includes comprehensive I/O and watchdog functionality including reject counters, encoder inputs and a watchdog timer along with a 7 status LEDs for rapid diagnostics.
The NetSight 2 is available with either three simultaneous fast analogue or camera link inputs with all models also having the ability to acquire concurrently from multiple IEEE-1394, FireWire cameras.
The Netsight 2 ships with either the Sherlock point and click machine vision software environment or the Sapera development environment for programmers, but can be configured with a range of different vision software platforms.
