Opgal manufactures fourth-generation infrared cameras, based on InSb or MCT cryogenically cooled detectors and on VOx or aSi microbolometer uncooled detectors.
The InSb or MCT detectors function in the 3um to 5um spectral band and are available in 320 x 240 or 640 x 480 pixel resolution.
The microbolometer systems operate in the 8um to 12um spectral band with 640X480 or 320 x 240 or 160 x 120 pixel resolution.
Opgal has thousands of electro-optical and thermal imaging products in service throughout the world are the result of 25 years of experience in innovative development.

Firstsight Director Mark Williamson, said "This agreement is part of our strategy to utilise the synergies between the high end security/ defence market and the machine vision market.
Additional resources are being applied in conjunction with this appointment to maximise our impact in this new market.
Unlike many of the IR manufacturers, Opgal use Israeli and European sensor technology, so the long delays that occur with many suppliers to gain US Export licences does not apply, significantly reducing delivery times". Request a free brochure from Firstsight Vision ...
