Membrane filtration: Innovations and
Applications
This is the topic for the next Filtration Society technical meeting, to be held on 20 May 2008 at The Heath Conference Centre, Runcorn
The event will be of particular interest to process engineers, designers, consultants, and technical and R+D staff who will find that the case studies will stimulate ideas of how the technology may be profitably used in their own company Examples are taken from the pharma, drinks and beverages, wastewater and water industries - and are relevant to many others

A one day technical seminar on 15 March 2007 will bring together people from the food and beverage industry who have an interest in food safety, whilst maintaining economic manufacturing methods
The speakers from industry and academia - who are all actively involved in membrane processes - will provide up-to-date reports and analyses of innovations and applications in membrane technologies.
Their talks will include case studies to show the benefits of membrane technology and where it can best be used.
The speakers are from suppliers and users of membrane systems, including Alfa Laval, GE, Sulzer Chemtech, TSI, GSK, and BRI, and from Bath University which has a long history of research into membrane applications.
Attendance at Filtration Society meetings is not limited to members.
Non-members and non-UK delegates are welcome.
The Heath Conference Centre is within 20 minutes of Manchester and Liverpool International Airports and is easily accessed from the motorway network.
