Flextraction offers DM3 industrial cleaning vacuum

Flextraction, a supplier of local exhaust ventilation (LEV) products, has launched the DM3 single-phase 230V industrial vacuum for simultaneously cleaning up dust, liquid and solid materials.

This compact mobile vacuum has been designed for industrial use.

It can carry out duties in: chemical plants, for the general cleaning of mixed materials; glass manufacturing, cleaning up glass dust; food and cereal production plants; powder coating lines; fabrication industries, cleaning CNC machinery, lathes and drilling machines; rubber manufacturing in production and warehouse areas; warehousing for general cleaning; garage workshops for vehicle valeting; woodworking, cleaning dust from wood; and contract cleaning.

The maximum air flow rate is 540m3/h, while the maximum vacuum rate is 2,500mm H20 provided by three bypass motors, using carbon brushes operated by independent switches on the outside of the casing.

Features of the vacuum include: a safe-change facility for disposal of the dust collection bag; the option of a fully automatic or hand-operated shaker for filter cleaning; a drop-off collection container; a pre-cast suction inlet; a vacuum indicator; and filter-clogging warning lights.

It has an epoxy-coated steel construction with the option of AISI 304 stainless steel, a low-noise operating vacuum around 76dB(A) and a hose kit with the option to select from a range of cleaning nozzles, including a static mounted floor cleaner.

The vacuum is supplied with a standard 20,000cm2 polyester filter and a 75-litre-capacity (or an optional 100-litre-capacity) plastic collection bag in a drop-down bin.

It can be supplied with a range of optional filters, including a HEPA filter, a 30,000cm2 coarse dust filter, a 30,000cm2 'M' category fine-dust filter with one-micron efficiency, a Nomax flame-proof filter for use up to 250C, a BIA-certified filter with 99.999 per cent efficiency for dust down to 0.3 microns and filters for corrosive or toxic dust and materials.

The product weighs 80kg, is mounted on a four-wheel chassis with two pivoting casters, one of which has a brake and is supplied with a basket for accessories, and comes with a two-year warranty.
