New low cost stainless weighing assembly

Flintec introduce their low cost Model 52-14 tank and vessel weighing assembly, for both "legal for trade" scales and hazardous area applications

This all stainless steel unit is based around the low profile stainless steel BK2 shear beam load cell and is available in capacities from 200 kg to 2000 kg.

The mount is extremely simple to install and the self-levelling wire rope suspension system ensures optimum load introduction preventing unwanted side forces affecting weighing performance.

This design also accommodates structural misalignment and movement caused by fluctuations in temperature.

The IP67 sealed BK2 load cell is approved for use in both legal for trade scales (OIML) and hazardous area applications where the high 1100 ohm bridge impedance facilitates use when zener barriers are required.

This load cell also features the Flintec mV/V/ohm calibration technique which avoids time consuming corner calibration in multiple load cell systems.

The 52-14 is part of the extensive Flintec range of products which includes load cells, mounting accessories and OEM sensors ranging from 3 kg to 300,000 kg.

A complementary range of instrumentation is also available, including digital junction boxes and ATEX amplifiers.
