340 HP Kreis-Dissolver for large batches of paint

In September Niemann shipped the fourth Kreis-Dissolver, type KDV 2000-340 FU, with 250 kW/340 HP driving power, to a leading paints and lacquer company.

These dissolvers being the largest machines ever manufactured by Niemann are equipped with a frequency converter drive and can be pivoted automatically over two mixing containers imbedded in a concrete ceiling.

The capacity per batch amounts to approximately 10,000 litres of emulsion paint which corresponds to a production of 150 - 200 tonnes per day!.

More than 3000 Kreis Dissolvers have been supplied worldwide for use in the manufacture of paints, inks, plastisols and paste materials of all types.
