On show at Manufacturing Excellence will be the Brooks Thermal Mass flow measurement and control products for gases, which are available with Profibus and DeviceNet digital communications to allow interfacing with modern control systems.
These thermal flow measurement devices are particularly used in doping systems, where the built-in control valve will maintain the doping gas flow rate according to electronic input signals from the control system.
The Quantim Coriolis meter is designed for measuring low flow rates of liquid or gas, giving a true mass flow measurement.
Models are available with built in control valves, providing a complete mass flow controller in one unit, or as measurement systems with analogue or digital outputs, from zero up to flows of 500 grams per minute.
Also on display will be the glass and metal tube Variable Area flowmeters from Brooks Instrument, providing simple, direct flow measurement for laboratory or industry at a very affordable price.
These meters are also available with alarm switch outputs, or electronic analogue or digital signals, to allow complete incorporation in any control scheme.
Many metal tube meters are supplied for offshore use, and with First Point Assessment in place, Flotech is qualified as a major supplier of equipment for offshore use.
Similarly the Brooks range of Positive Displacement flow metering systems, widely used in oil and petrochemical applications, is available via Flotech: service, repair and recalibration is offered on these units from the Stockport factory.
