Flotech Solutions have announced that they have been appointed as the European sales agent for Brodie Meter Co, of Statesboro, USA.

This new Brodie Meter Co was established recently to acquire the BiRotor and Oval Gear positive displacement flowmeter product lines and manufacturing facilities from Emerson Process Management.

Recently sold under the Brooks Instrument, Brooks Petroleum and Daniel names, within Emerson, the product traces its roots back to The Ralph M Brodie Company, which was founded in 1929.

The BiRotor is a precision positive displacement flowmeter, available with mechanical or electronic readout systems.

It is suitable for high viscosity liquid flow measurement, under difficult conditions, and is renowned for reliability and durability.

The meters are used on oil delivery pipelines to meet custody transfer and allocation measurement requirements.

In Manchester, Flotech holds a full range of spares for this meter range, and offers a repair and recalibration service and facility for European users.
