Flowserve wins Eastman Chemical supplier award

Flowserve's Flow Solutions Division has won the Eastman Chemical Company Supplier Excellence Award for its work on the company's Columbia, South Carolina facility.

Flowserve's Flow Solutions Division supplies valves, pumps and mechanical seals to Eastman, one of the largest US manufacturers of polyethylene terephthalate (PET) polymer.

Flowserve also provides ongoing and comprehensive support to the facility.

There are three levels of the Eastman Chemical Company awards: excellence, improvement and innovation.

To win the Excellence Award, the supplier must be a strategic service provider to Eastman, meet or exceed the minimum overall performance expectations and undergo an Eastman management review.

Suppliers are judged based on quality, customer satisfaction, delivery, administrative efficiency, technical support, cost and integrity.
