The completion of a contract to replace the keg line Management Information System at Carlsberg-Tetley in Northampton provides a further example of the unique levels of experience that FMA can offer

The recent completion of a contract to replace the keg line Management Information System at the Carlsberg-Tetley Northampton site provides a further example of the unique levels of experience that FMA can offer to the brewery industry In the case of the Carlsberg-Tetley contract, FMA replaced the existing APV Unix-based MIS system that was in place on the keg racker on the brewery kegline - a system that no-longer provided the necessary functionality and real-time data needs of the operating staff - with a Siemens-controlled, WinCC Scada-based platform

The tasks faced by FMA included reproduction of the existing MIS system functionality, the extension of the reporting system to cover shift as well as batch reports, the incorporation of detailed dynamic mimics of the racker operation to enable better dynamics and a review of the presentation of data in order to meet the precise needs of kegline operators.
