The International Brewing Convention was
a success
Returning from October's International Brewing Convention at Manchester Central, project management, design and solutions integration specialists, FMA, reported the 2007 event as being a great success
"We are always encouraged by the enthusiasm demonstrated by brewers of all sizes in embracing the latest technologies and ensuring their processes and procedures remain both robust and future proof" comments FMA Sales and Marketing Director, Paul Bunyan: "I am delighted to say that the IBC 2007 was no different, with a number of organisations requesting information about our capabilities in control system solutions and data collection technologies embracing SCADA and MES as well as interfaces with complex Enterprise Resource Planning Systems (ERP) These technologies improve traceability, reduce costly plant downtime and minimise product wastage - and, thereby, deliver the potential for efficiencies that modern industry needs"
