Returning from October's International Brewing Convention at Manchester Central, project management, design and solutions integration specialists, FMA, reported the 2007 event as being a great success

"We are always encouraged by the enthusiasm demonstrated by brewers of all sizes in embracing the latest technologies and ensuring their processes and procedures remain both robust and future proof" comments FMA Sales and Marketing Director, Paul Bunyan: "I am delighted to say that the IBC 2007 was no different, with a number of organisations requesting information about our capabilities in control system solutions and data collection technologies embracing SCADA and MES as well as interfaces with complex Enterprise Resource Planning Systems (ERP) These technologies improve traceability, reduce costly plant downtime and minimise product wastage - and, thereby, deliver the potential for efficiencies that modern industry needs"

In addition to control system technologies, FMA also received considerable interest in their solutions covering most areas of the brewing process, including dry goods and brewhouse, fermentation and yeast handling, green beer processing, filtration, blending, deaeration plants, bright beer, CIP systems and all main services.

Established in 1981, FMA has successfully undertaken numerous projects in the brewing, soft drinks, dairy and food manufacturing industries both at home and overseas.

As an ISO9001 accredited business and holders of the TickIT software and application-based standard, FMA are acutely aware of the need for quality in all aspects of system design and see their own internal standards and procedures covering the design, implementation, validation and testing of the systems they supply as a key differentiator for them as Project Managers and process system integrators in the food and beverage market place.
