Optionally configured to meet specific sanitary regulations, companies such as pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers, dairy and meat processors have found this denester to be the ideal solution.
"The FEMC denester has added to our productivity by increasing the speed of the operation and by decreasing the downtime associated with product changeovers," explained one user.
"This denester has also reduced our costs due to saved labour during unplanned equipment downtime when we had to place trays on the line manually".
The Standalone Universal Screw Denester adjusts to accommodate any size container in less than five minutes with no tools required and no change parts.
Designed to integrate seamlessly into any new or existing line in less than 10 minutes, the denester is hand adjustable for line heights from 30 inches (762 mm) to 60 inches (1524 mm).
The denester utilises virtually any input device to signal the start of the denesting cycle - limit switch, photo eye, PLC or encoder.
This FEMC denester is not only ideal for most plastic and many aluminium containers, it can handle virtually any semi-rigid object that is uniform in size, shape and stacking characteristics.
The denester features patented dispensing screws with blades that separate the container from a magazine and positively place it onto a conveyor or into a package.
Equipped with an intuitive control panel, the denester is easy to operate and maintain.
FEMC can manufacture the Standalone Screw Denester using either anodised aluminium or type 314/314L stainless steel depending on the needs of the packager.
Additionally, the denester can be built to withstand harsh environments with sealed stainless steel housings that protect against water and dust, meeting NEMA 4X washdown standards.
In order to minimise the need for operator intervention, FEMC can optionally equip the denester with angular stacking rods that extend the magazine or integrate the denester with an auto tray loader that will provide several minutes' worth of containers to the denester without reloading.
The Standalone Screw Denester can be built to run on voltages of 120V, 220V or 480V.
For applications in which the denester places lids or accessory items, FEMC can equip the denester with a no container, no place feature.
