Flow-Mon establishes new sales distributors

A Flow-Mon product story
Edited by the Processingtalk editorial team Jul 7, 2004

Flow-Mon sales are going from strength to strength, given a new boost with new sales agents in China, Italy and Sweden: the upgraded range of flow indicators and switches has been well accepted

Flow-Mon Ltd, manufacturers of cost effective flow-rate indicators, switches and transmitters, have two reasons to celebrate - both of the last two months of sales have made new records.

May 2004 was the best month for sales in over 4 years, and June was even better.

In fact, the first 6 months of 2004 have seen Flow-Mon production output increase by a massive 30% compared to the same period in 2003.

With a healthy order book, the revival in the popularity of these flow indicators and switches shows that the business is back on track.

This revival comes from the efforts of the staff and the new management team, headed-up by Nathan Smith (Managing Director) and Nick Bortone (Commercial Director), who took over at the end of 2001.

The Flow-Mon team have made some fundamental changes in the business.

Much work was needed on the Flow-Mon infrastructure, to bring it up to the speed of the 21st century.

The most popular product lines were upgraded.

The dedicated workforce has been properly incentivised.

The most important factors have been the increase in marketing activity and the organisation of a proactive distribution network.

Most recently distributors have been established in China, Italy and Sweden...

and as a result, all three markets have seen an upsurge of interest in Flow-Mon products, with their wide range of markets and applications.

Discussions are now continuing to establish distributors in India, Germany France and Spain.
