Flow-Mon at Miconex Exhibition in Shanghai

Flow-Mon will be working with Shanghai Uni-Banner at the Miconex 2007 Exhibition in Shanghai, China, from Tuesday 18 September through to Friday 21 September

This leading International Fair for Measurement Instrumentation and Automation will be the major focus for Flow-Mon and their 'flow control and sight flow instrumentation' in China this year.

Flow-Mon and Shanghai Uni-Banner joined forces last year with Shanghai Uni-banner becoming the Flow-Mon lead distributor in China.

The Flow-Mon product had been sold within China for over 30 years to power plants including 2 of the nuclear plants in the Shenzhen area of Guangdong Province.

'Sight Indicators' and 'Flow Rate Indicator Switches' can be found all over the process control industry from cooling and lubrication applications to paper mills, steel mills, power plants, compressor manufacturers, general engineering, automotive, mining, shipping, welding, pump manufacturers and rock crushing.

The unique combination of a visual flow indication and a fully adjustable switching mechanism and now 4 - 20 mA output means that the Flow-Mon 'Flow Rate Indicator' can be used in a variety of ways to aid plant protection and also flow control and monitoring.

Where accuracy is not essential and where +/- 3% accuracy will suffice and repeatability is important, Flow-Mon has excelled in meeting customer needs and developing a product that can operate in harsh environments, using a robust product, with a quality finish at an economical price.

From simple sight indication using the Flow-Mon 'Spinner' and 'Rising Ball' to the ever more common 4 - 20mA output unit using the Flow-Mon 'i-Mon' non-contact positioning encoder, Flow-Mon manufactures instrumentation that can be off the shelf to customers or machined and assembled to customers needs and delivered typically within 2 weeks lead-time.

Flow-Mon also incorporate Honeywell ATEX Approved micro-switches into their flow rate indicators giving a higher level of safety and plant protection to those customers operating in a hazardous area.
