Flow-Mon introduces new 'Sight Indicators'

A Flow-Mon product story
Edited by the Processingtalk editorial team Nov 19, 2008

Testing is underway and pre-orders are being taken for the launch of Flow-Mon's range of Oesight Indicators in January 2009.

These instruments will come with double windows and spout or flap-style indication, with a graduated scale, giving sight indication in pipe/process applications across all industries.

Being manufactured in stainless steel, carbon steel and bronze for the bodies, with stainless steel internals, these sight indicators can suit all duties including chemical applications, oil and lubrication, waters and cooling waters, plus various gases.

Where simple visual sight indication is needed, the company said that these instruments will be a suitable choice for engineers who need fast and reliable monitoring.

In the main phase of production Flow-Mon will be manufacturing the units to work up to 60 bar pressure and connect to piping from 1/4in to 2in in connection size.

Both NPT and BSP threaded options will be available, along with flange connections that can be specified at the time of ordering.

Special connections and special metals can also be accommodated.
