Recently a UK court heard that two "unqualified" workers washed a spilled chemical into drains causing the death of thousands of fish and long term damage to the local river

Recently a UK court heard that two "unqualified" workers washed a spilled chemical into drains causing the death of thousands of fish and long term damage to the local river.

Rentokil was fined GBP40,000 and ordered to pay costs of GBP33,000.

This is hard evidence of the importance that the Environment Agency attaches to staff training.
