Open channel flowmeter can measure

The latest version of Flo-dar, the radar-based open-channel flow meter technology from Marsh Mcbirney Inc, has software with the capability accurately to measure flows up to 5 metres per second
The Flo-dar family of flowmeters, which includes both standard AC- and DC-powered instruments and portable designs, is intended for difficult flow conditions These may involve high solid content, caustic or high temperature media as well as shallow flows, unusually large channels or high velocities
The technology, which is non-contact, combines digital Doppler radar velocity sensing with ultrasonic level measurement.
The equipment is thus easy to install, ideal for retro-fitting and maintenance-free.
Sensors and monitors are field-replaceable.
Ancillary equipment includes data loggers and diagnostics as required.
