Freeman at International Powder and Bulk Solids

A Freeman Technology product story

The Freeman Technology FT4 can be seen at the International Powder and Bulk Solids Conference/Exhibition on the Particle Technology Labs booth, number 1156, 8-11 May in Illinois

The Freeman Technology FT4 powder rheometer will be shown on the Particle Technology Labs booth (1156) at this year's International Powder and Bulk Solids Conference/Exhibition, 8-11 May 2006, in Rosemont Illinois.

The FT4 is an important analytical tool for PTL, used by the company to deliver its powder characterisation services for clients throughout the US.

James Cooke, Materials Scientist at Freeman Technology, will be available on the booth and will also deliver a paper to the conference entitled: "Understanding powder behaviour and predicting processability" (Tuesday, 9 May, at 1030).

The FT4 characterises powders using dynamic measurements and has evolved to incorporate a range of measurement regimes, including shear testing capability and bulk property determination.

A state-of-the-art system, the FT4 is now more accurately described as a universal powder tester that enables powder properties to be determined in complementary ways, in order to build the most complete picture of powder behaviour.

PTL is a long-established laboratory highly experienced in the characterisation of fine particles.

Operating under current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), it offers analytical services to many of the world's leading pharmaceutical, environmental and food, health and cosmetics companies.
