Metal detector with highest level of
protection
The IP69K Phantom metal detector was one of a range of detectors from Fortress Technology on show at this years Total exhibition, representing the highest level of waterproof resistance
Fortress Technology is pleased to announce that its stainless construction Phantom Metal Detector is now officially certified with an IP69K Rating, representing the highest level of waterproof resistance to high pressure jet wash, and a complete seal against dust Tested in accordance with Ingress Protection (IP) standards by an independent European test facility, the Phantom detector was subjected to a 80C (175F) steam clean spray at various angles with pressure up to 100bar (1500PSI), in addition to being placed in a dust chamber for 8 hours

The IP69K certification confirms that Fortress metal detectors are built exceptionally rugged to meet the demands of the harshest production environments by withstanding the most severe conditions.
The stainless steel Phantom detector also achieves vibration immunity and ultimate stability in wet product applications with the Fortress unique heavy duty BSH construction.
The Phantom detector, constructed in stainless steel with an epoxy chute, utilises powerful digital signal processing to provide faster, more accurate detection of ferrous and non-ferrous metals including non magnetic stainless steel in food processing and packaging applications.
Detectors are also available in an epoxy coated aluminium casing, suitable for dry production environments.
Where required Fortress offers the convenient all-in-one detection solution of an integrated conveyor system to accommodate the metal detector and realise the full potential of Phantom technology.
