Fluke has introduced a new loop calibrator, the first of a new line of test tools developed specifically for use in hazardous environments such as petrochemical plants, oil platforms and refineries
The new Fluke ScopeMeter 124 is a truly integrated test tool, combining the three most frequently used service tools: a dual input oscilloscope, a true-rms multimeter and a 'paperless' recorder in one affordable, easy to use instrument.
With the unique 'Connect-and-View' hands-off trigger functionality, it is the ideal choice for technicians servicing and troubleshooting today's complex industrial systems.
The 124 model has a 40 MHz bandwidth and on-screen cursor measurements for more detailed analysis of scope waveforms.
It features 20 memories each of which is able to store measurement data, full set-up information and user text.
The typical operating time per battery charge is now seven hours, an increase of two hours, thanks to the use of more efficient NiMH batteries.
The 124 features the unique Fluke 'Connect-and-View' triggering, which recognises signal patterns and automatically sets up correct triggering.
It provides a stable and repeatable display of virtually any signal including motor drive and control signals.
This overcomes problems related to manual trigger setting, which can result in unstable and sometimes wrong results.
The Fluke 124 Industrial ScopeMeter is available from authorised Fluke distributors at a suggested retail price of UK PDS937.
A rechargeable battery pack, alligator clips, shielded BNC adapter, hook clips, line adapter/charger and shielded test-leads set are all included.
The 124 also has a 10:1 voltage probe to minimise signal source loading.
Extensive user documentation is supplied on CD-ROM. Request a free brochure from Fluke (UK) ...
