Fluke has introduced six new, ergonomically-designed temperature probes.

The probes have been designed for a wide range of professional users who use multimeters with temperature functions and digital thermometers.

Users include HVAC engineers, electricians, and plant, process and laboratory technicians requiring accurate temperature measurements of air/gas, liquids, large and small surfaces, and insulation covered surfaces.

The new Fluke SureGrip temperature probes utilise Type-K thermocouples and feature soft rubber handles and ergonomic shapes, which makes them easy to hold and consequently make good contact with their target surfaces.

Their sturdy designs ensure a long life in regular professional use.

These SureGrip accessories can be obtained from authorised Fluke distributors and can be seen in the latest Fluke 2005 Test Tools Catalogue and on the Fluke web site.

The 80PK-22 SureGrip Immersion Probe is for general purpose measurement of liquids and gels from -40C to +1090C.

The 80PK-24 SureGrip Air Probe features a perforated baffle around the measurement bead for reliable temperature measurements of air and non-caustic gases from -40C to +816C.

The 80PK-25 and 80 PT-25 SureGrip Piercing Probes are designed for temperature measurement in liquids, gels and soft, or semi-hard, substances in the food industry to +350C.

The 80 PT-25 is for use with T-type thermometers.

The 80PK-26 SureGrip General Purpose Probe has a tapered tip for use in air, non-caustic gases and surface applications from -40C to +816C.

The 80PK-27 SureGrip Industrial Surface probe is designed for use in rugged industrial environments on flat or slightly curved surfaces from -127C to + 600C.
