The new Fluke 1587ET Advanced Electrical Troubleshooting Kit includes a Fluke 1587 Insulation Multimeter which is ideal for identifying electrical problems on motors, cables and switchgear.
It combines insulation test measurements, from 0.01MW to 2GW at test voltages in 5 steps from 50V to 1000V, with the capability of a high end Digital Multimeter (DMM).
For adjustable speed motor drives, it features an integral selectable low pass filter which blocks unwanted high frequencies to provide accurate and stable measurements of AC voltage and frequency.
The 1587 has CAT III 1000V / CAT IV 600V overvoltage ratings and features a large display with a bright backlight.
The compact Fluke i400 Current Clamp operates with the 1587 to provide accurate 1A to 400A AC measurement for conductors up to 32mm in diameter, with a similar CAT III 1000V / CAT IV 600V overvoltage safety rating.
The Fluke 62 Mini IR Thermometer offers quick and reliable non-contact surface temperature readings in the range from -30C to +500C.
A dual display shows both the current and maximum measurements.
