professionals

The Fluke 561 HVACPro is a multipurpose thermometer specifically designed for HVAC professionals: it combines infra-red and contact temperature sensors in a single, easy-to-use tool

Fluke Corporation, the global leader in handheld electronic test and measurement technology, today announced the new Fluke 561 HVACPro, a multipurpose thermometer combining both infra-red and contact temperature measurement functions in a single tool for HVAC professionals The Fluke 561 Thermometer gives users the option of deciding which temperature measurement method - contact or non-contact (infra-red) - is most efficient and best suited for the application

HVAC professionals can use the Fluke 561 in infra-red mode to instantly scan hot, moving, electrically-energised and hard to reach objects safely and conveniently without shutting down equipment.

Contact and ambient temperature measurements can be taken by connecting the included Velcro pipe probe or any industry-standard K-type mini-connector thermocouple.

Lightweight and portable, with a temperature range optimised for HVAC/R applications (-40 to 1022F/ -40 to 550C), the Fluke 561 has single-point laser sighting in the infra-red mode that guides users to the approximate centre of the target area for more accurate measurements.

It features MIN, MAX and DIF functions designed for quick and efficient diagnosis, an adjustable emissivity selector with three settings, and includes an HVAC/R measurement section designed to maximise productivity in the users guide.

The Fluke 561 HVACPro Thermometer is available immediately for a US list price of $149.
