Current clamps for simple high current
metering
Fluke has introduced new designs of current clamp for non-intrusive metering of high AC current (to 3000A) and lower level AC/DC currents, up to 30A, with 1mA resolution
Fluke, the world's leading supplier of handheld test and measurement equipment, has introduced two new AC Current Clamps to measure up to 3000A, the i2000 Flex and i3000s Flex, and two AC/DC Current Clamps to measure up to 30A with a 1mA resolution, the i30 and i30s Compliant to European Category III safety standards, there is a choice of models to enable extension of the functionality of a user's Digital Multimeter, power meter, oscilloscope or data logger

The new Fluke i2000 Flex and i3000s Flex AC Current Clamps measure up to 2000A and 3000A with bandwidths up to 20 kHz or 50kHz respectively, on maximum voltages of 600VRMS.
Each has a flexible and lightweight wrap-around measuring head for easy installation in hard to reach areas: these act as a Rogowski coil for measuring currents in conductors of maximum diameters 178mm or 275mm depending on the model.
The i3000s Flex-4PK contains four measuring heads for use with Power Quality measurement tools.
The new i30 and i30s AC/DC Current Clamps utilise the Hall effect for accurate, non-intrusive measurements of conductors up to a maximum diameter of 19mm and up to 300VRMS AC.
The i30 has a bandwidth of 20kHz and the i30s a bandwidth of 100kHz.
The patented magnetic circuit design enables low currents to be measured over a wide bandwidth and with a high resolution of 1mA.
Typical applications include inverters, SMPS and industrial controllers requiring current measurement and/or waveform analysis.
All products can be purchased from Fluke authorised wholesalers and distributors.
