New from FlowKinetics, the RAP probe is a portable averaging pitot tube that can be used instead of a pitot probe to perform airflow surveys of ducts and other air conveyances The major benefits of the RAP are time savings and accuracy; reducing the average time to perform a duct survey by up to a factor of eight

A single probe may be used to survey ducts from 9 to 36inches.

In addition, unlike fixed averaging pitots, the instrument does not require a calibration factor, and can literally be used instead of a pitot tube.
