The text of both Directives is included in the guide.
GAMBICA has been closely involved with the development of the guide and is now working on a number of guidelines to assist with industry interpretation.
The WEEE Directive specifically covers monitoring and control instruments used in industrial installations and some laboratory equipment and will directly impact GAMBICA members.
As a result, the association has appointed a specialist advisor in waste management to work with members on interpretation of the new requirements and to assist it in advising the DTI on issues on scope.
Copies of the ORGALIME guide are available from GAMBICA for UK PDS35 including postage for non-member companies.
