New applications engineering and
training unit
Garlock Sealing Technologies has formalized its applications engineering, training and customer support functions with the creation of a dedicated unit under the leadership of Matt Tones
The new unit will work on a cross-functional basis with Garlock's engineering, product development, customer support, sales and marketing departments to bring the company's extensive knowledge base to these activities In addition, it will provide Garlock customers with technical support, training, failure analysis and product recommendations

He joined the company in 1993 as a laboratory technician, and subsequently served as OEM sales correspondent.
Matt also has nearly 10 years of experience in applications engineering with the company.
