New biogas gas flow sensors bring benefits
For monitoring Biogas downstream of aeration tanks/basins and to bring about an overall methane/carbon dioxide system balance, Combimass gas flow sensors are now available from Gas Data
For monitoring Biogas downstream of aeration tanks/basins and to bring about an overall methane/carbon dioxide system balance, the proven Binder Combimass gas flow sensors are now available exclusively in the UK from Coventry-based Gas Data.
Designed for increased efficiency and greater economy, Combimass closely monitors and accurately controls the aeration process; reducing energy consumption by as much as 25%.
It also eliminates undesirable system pressure drops and high maintenance costs associated with older technology such as differential flow meters and rotary load meters.
Combimass can also be utilised to create and harness energy for a widespread power grid, as well as monitoring any excess gas that is used as a fuel to power onsite generators and pumps.
Very easy to install, Combimass provides direct mass flow measurement without the need for additional temperature or pressure instrumentation.
The output signal is a true mass flow rate signal which can be directly interfaced with a data acquisition and control system.
Designed for minimal drift of the raw signal, Combimass sensors provide excellent long-term stability and can be supplied in multiple combinations for easy expandability of a system.
Available in several modules, including Basic (up to 130C) and Compact (up to 1100C), the modular Combimass from Gas Data can work in very harsh operating conditions.
