In a move to expand upon its market presence in China, Geomagic, a worldwide software and services firm headquartered in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina, has opened a wholly owned subsidiary in Shanghai Geomagic (Shanghai) Software Co has been formed as a result of the increasing demand for Geomagic software in the Chinese manufacturing market

As part of its commitment to the Chinese market, all Geomagic software products, including Studio and Qualify, are available in Chinese language.
The Geomagic (Shanghai) Software Company is located in the new economic development zone in the heart of the city, within five miles from the domestic Shanghai airport.
Geomagic software enables engineers and designers to transform scan data from physical objects into highly accurate digital models for applications ranging from digital shape reconstruction for mass customisation and reverse engineering to computer-aided inspection.
Geomagic has offices in Singapore, Japan, Germany, The Netherlands and Hungary.
