Gems launches FT-330 turbine flow rate sensors

A Gems Sensors product story
Edited by the Processingtalk editorial team Oct 31, 2008

Gems Sensors and Controls has launched the Turboflow FT-330 series of turbine flow rate sensors for drinking water dispensing applications.

The FT-330 is an OEM flow sensor featuring Hall-effect turbine technology in a small package.

All wetted parts are made from FDA-approved materials including Noryl, polyamide or nylon composite, Delrin (polyoxymethylene) and 316 stainless steel.

The FT-330 is available in two flow ranges, covering 0.05 to 1.5L/min.

With 0.5 per cent repeatability and 2 per cent accuracy, the FT-330 is a suitable choice for monitoring dispensing timer systems.

The small, lightweight plastic construction allows for ease of mounting.

Unlike timing systems, turbine technology is not influenced by changes in system pressure caused by ageing filters.

The FT-330 joins the existing FT-210 and FT-110 ranges of turbine flow sensors.

These are suited to measurement of either volume dispensing and/or flow rate applications.

The FT-210 series measures liquid flow rates of 0.1 to 2.5L/min, while the FT-110 series covers the range of 0.5 to 30L/min.
