Gentech have expanded the power handling capabilities of their float switch liquid level sensing products, increasing this to 70 watts across the range

Gentech have expanded the power handling capabilities of their float switch/liquid level sensing products The introduction of this high power handling capacity across a range of sensors enhances the application areas for the sensors

Initially this capability will be introduced in the highly popular LS range "Side tank entry" horizontal sensors and then further extend through the RS range right angle stem vertical travel float, and the VS "Top or bottom tank entry" vertical sensors.

The LS series of product is available in three housing and float materials; Nylon 6.6 ideal for Hydrocarbon applications, Polypropylene for general purpose and Polyphenylene with high temperature capability and suitable for a wide range of chemicals.

The LS series has available as standard, internal or external fitting via M16 threaded mounting and a compression grommet: or it can be supplied suitable for fitting to a 1/2 inch NPT bush.

The series also has UL listing and WRAS potable water approval.

As well as the 70 watt capability (09 switching option) in a single pole single throw normally open format, the LS series is also available with changeover contact switching.

The sensor can be easily adjusted on installation to sense the rise or fall in the liquid level.

Custom options are available for termination with a range of standard connectors and cable types, and can also be specially designed with an integral connector.
