Both fields contain hydrocarbons at three reservoir levels, and total recoverable resources are estimated to be as high as 16.8 MSm3 of oil and condensate and 48.3 GSm3 of rich gas.
Management and engineering for the Skarv Idun subsea project will be done from the VetcoGray office facilities near Oslo, Norway and equipment will be manufactured and supplied from Aberdeen and Nailsea in the UK.
The work will commence in July and August 2007 and will be completed in 2011.
