New Impact series fluid-free pressure
transmitters
The new Gefran Impact series fluid-free pressure transmitters for high temperature environments (up to 350C) are for applications such as melt pressure feedback on plastic extruders
With no mercury or oil filling, the ROHS compliant range uses latest MEMS technology to produce a silicon on insulator (SOI) sensing element that allows a process contact membrane of up to 15 times the thickness of traditional melt pressure sensors With a choice of six pressure ranges from 0-100 to 0-1000bar, accuracy to 0.25% FSO and an auto-zero function, the highly robust Impact design offers high stability, high strength and a long working life
The Impact series features a separate signal conditioning unit and a 15-5pH stainless steel isolation diaphragm with a GTP coating for optimum corrosion, abrasion and temperature resistance.
