GDS Clearview G-Bond optical bonding solution
The innovative G-Bond process is a unique optical bonding procedure that offers the highest performance of any display enhancement technique in the industry.
Product developments from GDS planned to make their debut in Hamburg include: - New 30" TFT - Public Information Display (PID) - New 32" natural flat CRT - PID - New 6.4" through to 20.1" sunlight readable TFT displays (Mitra series).
Many GDS displays are designed or adapted according to application to provide the end-user with an effective and reliable information display, so custom display enquiries are welcome.
The new 30" TFT flat screen PID is a lightweight, compact and reliable display: it has significantly improved long-term life and performance compared to Plasma displays and eliminates the problems of static data images becoming permanently burned into the display phosphor.
The GDS 30" TFT also has a Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF) of greater than 45000 hours, which means that maintenance costs are greatly reduced.
The new GDS 30" TFT PID has a 16:9 aspect ratio, full screen brightness of 450 cd/mư, and a high reliability backlight with excellent colour and brightness uniformity.
It also has high resolution (WxGA) and wide horizontal and vertical viewing angles (>160deg), which result in a clear and easy to view picture from almost any angle.
The new totally flat CRT screens also offer reliability, low-cost maintenance and have a better performance than conventional CRT monitors, making them suitable for application in passenger terminals.
GDS is the first manufacturer to deploy this technology to the industry and has successfully installed over six airports in the last twelve months.
