New sales engineer for North and South
America
Global Display Solutions Ltd (GDS), the expert in the design and development of industrial display solutions, has appointed Gus Rothmaler as its new Sales Engineer for North and South America
Gus has been in the displays industry for the past 20 years For the last 2 years, he was Project Manager for display lines at Clinton, and prior to this, he spent 18 years with Orwin Associates, where he worked his way up from being Bench Technician to Plant Manager

During this time, Gus helped developed raster radar and tactical displays for the Military and Federal Aviation Administration, supplied stroker type displays to the Ford Automotive Group, and was involved in building digitally controlled medical imaging displays.
As Sales Engineer for GDS, Gus will be involved in designing a wide range of monitors for ATMs, Point of Sale, Aviation etc, incorporating standard or hi-bright displays, ruggedised or open frames, and with or without touch-screens.
He will also provide technical advice and support on the GDS complete product line, including both CRT and LCD displays.

Gus lives in Roscoe, Illinois, and when not working, he enjoys water and snow skiing, flying small aircraft and scuba diving.
GDS designs and develops displays such as ATMs, Public Information Displays (PIDs), industrial monitors and desktop displays for the banking, transport (air, rail etc), retail, marine and process industries.
The company has offices in 5 continents and provides legacy after-sales support and an online ordering service, which operates 24-hours a day, 365 days a year.
