Global Display Solutions (GDS), market leader in the design and manufacture of industrial monitors, will present its new eSignage range at SID 2004, May 24th - 28th, Seattle, Washington.

Amongst those products to be shown at SID, will be the 32" and 37" LCDs, 32" LCD with touch-screen, moving floor display, 3D display, 65" ITrans display and TFT glass-bonded display.

The eSignage range offers marketing and information display solutions, to a range of industry sectors, including travel, retail, advertising, leisure and entertainment.

GDS new 32" and 37" LCDs are especially sleek in comparison with their predecessors, due to their unique Italian design by Architetto Michele De Lucchi.

Both sizes consist of parallel, undivided screens, protected by one sheet of glass, to create one continuous screen.

The moving floor display is a shared venture between GDS and Flasma.

These displays are incorporated into the floor so they do not take up any space.

In addition, as they are waterproof and durable, they can be used inside and outside.

The revolutionary 3D Display is a joint enterprise between GDS and Dynamic Screen Entertainment Ltd.

It projects images that appear, like holograms, to be suspended in mid-air.

This display is considered unique, as it produces 'external' rather than 'internal' images and allows for the re-purpose of existing 2D material, to be used in conjunction with 3D material.

The novel ITrans Display is the result of a collaboration between GDS and Screen Technology Ltd.

A radical technology, ITrans facilitates the unlimited tiling of LCDs, to create a single, large, mullion-free display, with excellent view ability from all angles, regardless of lighting conditions.

Currently, the largest of these displays is 85" diagonal, although in theory, their size is limitless.

In addition to its eSignage range, GDS will also be showing the latest TFT glass-bonded display.

This is manufactured using the technique known as glass-bonding, which increases brightness and contrast, making the screen a lot easier to read.

In addition to eliminating internal light reflections and refractions, the display is much more robust and therefore enduring.
