functionality
GDS announces the expansion of its MiDAS digital signage solution with the introduction of an option-based embedded PC and wireless connectivity for both its LCD MiDAS32'' and MiDAS46'' models

The new GDS MiDAS displays integrate both the monitor and the PC within the same thermally-managed IP65 enclosure.
The enclosure protects the system from harsh conditions such as extreme temperatures, weather and pollution which can often cause connectivity problems.
The MiDAS large screen LCDs have been further enhanced with built-in technology including RJ45 Ethernet connectivity, configurable PC with optional hard drive, compact flash and either Wifi or GSM wireless connection.
The new wireless capabilities of the MiDAS enable information and product content downloads without any input from other external sources.
The MiDAS range of outdoor digital signage is a proven technology, providing performance much sought after in the industry.
Featuring full sunlight capabilities and a weatherproof sealed casing, GDS MiDAS displays are ideal for outdoor applications such as passenger information displays (PIDs), theme parks, outdoor malls and general outdoor advertising.
