Good Products, provider of ECM solutions for the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical industries, has announced that ClinPhone founder Dr Neil Rotherham has joined the company as Executive Chairman

Neil will work with the Good Products team at the UK headquarters in Nottingham, sharing his extensive industry knowledge and business experience in order to direct company growth In 1993 Neil co-founded ClinPhone, recognizing the opportunity to improve the clinical trials process through the implementation of telephone and web-based solutions

Neil led the business from conception to a 500-person company with offices in Europe and the USA, only stepping down from the ClinPhone board in 2006 after introducing a management team to take the company public.

Neil has since been involved in a variety of small enterprises as owner, manager and in a non-executive capacity.

"Pharmaceutical organizations are constantly looking for new methods of streamlining information, but increasingly strict regulations mean that smaller companies can find compliance confusing," said Neil Rotherham: "Good Products is ideally placed not only to provide easy-to-use document management systems, but also to advise companies on optimal and compliant solutions".

With over 20 years of experience in the medical and pharmaceutical industries, Neil brings to Good Products a wealth of expertise in key markets for the company's suite of products: g-docs electronic Document Management Software, g-train compliant training solution and CoSign digital signature software.

Neil qualified in medicine in 1986 and trained as a hospital physician before moving into the pharmaceutical industry to work on medicine development for Boots Pharmaceuticals, prior to founding ClinPhone.

Keith Williams, founder and CEO of Good Products, comments, "We are delighted with this latest addition to the company.

Neil's experience in both the life sciences and business sectors is unparalleled, and we look forward to working with Neil to grow Good Products and expand our range of solutions".
