The Hanovia system, which is controlled by a state-of-the-art Photon control panel, treats up to 1500m3/hour of water with a UV dose of 400J/m2.
The UV lamps are fitted with automatic wipers, which keep the protective quartz sleeves clean - this ensures optimum UV output and helps to extend the life of the system.
The UV disinfection chamber was designed using the latest CFD modelling software, based on validations performed in the USA.
Commenting on the project, the Hanovia Italian distributor, Sergio Morelli of Aquatecnica Srl said, "Gorgovivo is very happy with the performance of the UV system.
They chose Hanovia on the basis of proven performance data from similar installations, and also because we were able to comply with the client's specific requirements on the number of UV monitors.".
