HardwarePT has recently been appointed as a Premier Partner for the Open HMI Range of Ex Panel PCs for R Stahl Limited, a global leader in the manufacture and supply of explosion protected electrical and process automation equipment.
Commenting upon the addition of the range of Open HMI systems to its product offerings Louise Knowles, HardwarePT marketing manager, said "the addition of the Stahl products is an exciting addition to the HardwarePT portfolio and strengthens our position as a leading supplier of industrial automation hardware".
As a standard, all the Open HMIs are equipped with a touch screen, several interfaces and are based on powerful Pentium/Celeron M technology up to 1.1 GHz, which makes them the most powerful unit available on the market.
Knowles added "Their modular structure facilitates changes and also makes for ease of maintenance too of course".
Open HMIs are suited for applications in almost all industry sectors and have received numerous international approvals and certifications.
Their open software platform makes these devices extremely flexible to use and their rugged mechanical design also makes them highly resistant even under extreme climatic conditions e.g in the oil and gas sector.
