Hybrid connector handles both Ethernet and power

A Harting product story

The new Harting PushPull Hybrid connector integrates Ethernet and power connections into a single compact unit for ease of installation in industrial machines

The new connector has been developed in response to the increasing use of industrial Ethernet communications in machine installations, where the data wires and the 24 V power supply are combined in a single hybrid cable linked by a single hybrid connector within the dimensions of an M12 connector footprint.

Using the Harting PushPull Hybrid connector results in considerable space saving as well as reduction in the number of connectors and cables required for a typical installation.

Field installation is also eased through the use of 'plug and play' termination technology.

Safe data transfer is ensured by means of the Harting patent-registered Omega shielding concept.

Up to six different codings can be realised by means of coding pins so that improper mating can be avoided.
