ABB select Hawk IR Sightglasses for
arc-safety
ABB, global leader in power and automation technologies, now offers their SafeGear medium voltage Arc-Resistant switchgear as infra-red friendly, thanks to Arc-Resistant Hawk IR Sightglasses
The 15kV SafeGear has been successfully arc-fault tested to a maximum of 50kA with 3inch C-Range Hawk IR Sightglasses installed Hawk IR and ABB jointly conducted tests at the Kema facility in Philadelphia (Pennsylvania) to both ANSI C37.20.7 2001 (United States) and EEMAC G14-1 1987 (Canada) in January of 2007 for compliance throughout North America
As a result, ABB now offer the 3inch C-Range Hawk IR Sightglasses to increase thermographer safety while maintaining the integrity of SafeGear AR Switchgear.
