The Beckhoff enhanced compact control cabinet range, available exclusively in the UK from Hayes Control Systems, now has three free PCI slots and can therefore be used for a greater range of applications.

The C63 series, designed for control cabinet installation, is particularly advantageous in applications where standard PC technology is required in ultra-compact design.

In every model, the PC connections are located at the front, while two mounting sides provide the user with a variety of flexible installation options.

The removable internal chassis makes for easy maintenance and individual configuration, and the DVI and USB interfaces enable the connection of a control panel.

The C6340 and C6350 build on the existing features in the range.

Both IPCs feature a 5-slot backplane including the three free IPC slots.

The additional slots can be used for further PC fieldbus cards, meaning that these models are ideally suited to systems where several fieldbuses are used in parallel, for example machine construction and plant engineering applications.

Both models also feature a slot motherboard for Intel Celeron or Pentium III processors.

The external dimensions of the C6340 are 134 x 196 x 226mm (W x H x D) without a mounting plate.

The C6350, featuring an additional CD-RW drive, is only 14 mm wider.
