A series of regional safety focused conferences essential for those involved in the safe and efficient operation of hazardous area plant and equipment, are coming to a series of locations throughout the UK, for these unique educational days.

Following the national event held recently in Coventry, and in association with HSE, Sira, Dowding and Mills, ICM, ABB, Sartorius, Pepperl and Fuchs and Protego, these regional seminars will provide easier access for engineers and technicians working in the industry to benefit from a comprehensive portfolio of Hazardous Area information, on their doorstep.

The day will consist of a series of presentations from the event partners, including vital guidance from the HSE in relation to the ATEX 137 Worker Protection Directive, and the deadline for compliance of July 2006 (fast approaching), and some very useful practical case studies and examples specifically for the oil and gas, food and beverage and pharmaceutical industries.

Presentations from Sira, ICM, ABB, Sartorius, Pepperl and Fuchs and Protego cover non-electrical and electrical requirements as well as covering the issues of oil, gas and dust in hazardous areas.
