Hanwell provides wireless temperature monitoring

A Hanwell Instruments product story

Hanwell Instruments can provide managers with an accurate and workable system for mapping and controlling a warehouse environment.

For perishable products such as foodstuffs, pharmaceuticals and medical supplies, the warehouses in which they are stored must be carefully controlled.

Hanwell's 4000 series of radio transmitters enable wire-free monitoring of a site.

Hanwell's 4000 series of radio transmitters enable wire-free monitoring of a site.

Fluctuations in temperature and humidity may have disastrous consequences if they cause medicines to become ineffective, food to spoil or result in the failure of critical equipment.

Hanwell Instruments provides the warehouse industry with a range of temperature and humidity sensors, transmitters and base stations for a complete warehouse monitoring and logging system.

Its 4000 series of radio transmitters enable wire-free monitoring of a site.

With real-time alarm notification and the ability to accept data directly into a PC or Hanwell system controller, data can be analysed in real time and historical data can also be stored for regulatory compliance.

Each transmitter unit in the Hanwell system reads its on-board sensors to provide information about environmental conditions.

This data is then transmitted to the Radiolog system where it is filed for analysis.

With Radiolog, all key environmental functions can be managed and reported.

Hanwell's Smart Receivers enable temperature and humidity to be monitored from a PC, in real time, across wide area networks to a central location.

'The position of the sensors is vital to the accuracy of the monitoring,' said Derek Richardson, sales director at Hanwell.

'We will work together with clients to help them undertake an initial mapping exercise, ensuring that the sensors are placed so that the readings are meaningful and accurately reflect the environmental conditions in the warehouse.' Hanwell products are designed with calibration in mind.

In-house or on-site temperature calibration services are offered using equipment traceable to national standards.

For customers with their own in-house calibration facilities, Hanwell can provide all the necessary supplementary calibration documentation and software.
