Hima-Sella will participate in the HazardEx 2007 Conference and Exhibition, which takes place at the National Motorcycle Museum, Birmingham from 21st to 22nd February The Hima-Sella key product partner and associate company, Hima-Paul Hildebrandt of Germany will contribute to the conference with a presentation entitled: 'Functional Safety: Guiding Principles for End-users and System Integrators'

This will be presented by Mr Tino van de Capelle, and will explain to end-users the most important high level requirements when designing a Safety Instrumented System.

It will also address the significance of the architectural constraints from the point of view of the IEC 61508 and IEC 61511 standard.

Present on the Hima-Sella stand (B4p) will be John Lunt, Sales Applications Engineer, who specialises in the design and supply of control systems in hazardous areas, incorporating panel build, marshalling cabinets, mimic displays, SCADA and PLCs.

Also present will be Andy Crosland, who is the Sales Applications Engineer responsible for the design and supply of integrated safety and control systems.

With experience in providing safety related solutions, up to SIL3, such as are used in Burner Management and Emergency Shutdown systems.

DEADLINE.

The registration deadline for the conference and exhibition is Wednesday 31 January: only those who have registered to attend will have access to this event.
