"Clients no longer need to wait for a hard copy of results to arrive by post," says Hitek Managing Partner, Martin Kulin.
"They simply log on to our web site for immediate access to the full test data as well as a Calibration Certificate." A key advantage claimed for this Hitek service is that no special software is needed and, instead of having to remember a password, clients simply enter the serial number of their equipment.
Hitek is convinced users will find the system far quicker and easier than other options and has set up an on-line demonstration of the service.
"All Hitek engineers are equipped with wireless broadband laptops fitted with Vodafone 3G enabling the site engineers to email back to the Hitek servers the results the same day to enable uploading: clients can access the results even before the engineer has left the building," adds Mr Kulin.
Hitek Calibration Services is one of the last few UK privately owned independent laboratories providing calibration and repair of electrical, temperature, humidity, RF/Microwave and dimensional measuring instruments.
Hitek provides a choice of services, including on-site, mobile and return to permanent laboratory for UKAS calibration (accredited to ISO 17025) for DC, LF, Temperature, and EHT.
The Hitek team of 6 engineers provides clients with a total of over 75 years calibration experience from their laboratory housing over GBP1 million worth of test equipment and standards.
