A new Hoffman Type 1 Locking Window pull box accessory enables users to prevent unauthorised access to switch banks, dimmers and other panel-mount controls

Hoffman continues its tradition of off-the-shelf innovation with a new Type 1 locking window pull box accessory that enables users to prevent unauthorised access to switch banks, dimmers and other panel-mount controls "Previously, customers had to order a custom enclosure to obtain the locking and control viewing features included in the Hoffman standard product," said Glen Kampa, Hoffman Contractor Products Product Manager: "The Hoffman Locking Window Accessory is readily available to convert ordinary pull boxes into secure human-building interfaces"

Designed to easily replace 8'' x 8'' to 24'' x 24'' standard Type 1 pull box covers, this Hoffman exclusive, off-the-shelf accessory features a cylinder key lock on its hinged door and tamper-proof mounting screws.

The 3/16-inch polycarbonate viewing window facilitates control monitoring, while the removable 1/8-inch aluminium dead-front panel provides for quick and easy device cutouts and labeling.

The Locking Window Accessory, constructed of 16-gauge steel with a versatile black finish inside and out, is designed for flush or surface-mounting in libraries, gymnasiums, conference centres and other applications in which controls need to be monitored but not regularly changed.

The new Hoffman Type 1 Locking Window pull box accessory is available throughout North America through authorised Hoffman distributors.
